Online728 February Newsletter

Online728 Families -

Communication was sent previously (Jan. 23rd, 2024) by ISD 728 regarding the closure of the Online728 Elementary and Middle School programs at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year. If you have not received this communication, please view here. Please note that our Online728 High School will continue to offer programming for students in grades 9-12 and is not impacted by this announcement.

Online728 expanded to include Elementary and Middle School grade levels in the 2021-2022 school year. I was closely involved in our process for approval with MDE and have graciously served as administrator of the program since its inception. The purpose of our online program is and always has been to provide opportunities for our unique learners. I am thankful for the Online728 staff for their dedication to building and delivering a wonderful opportunity to students. Additionally, I extend gratitude to our wonderful Online728 families and learning mentors. Your dedication to supporting your online learner has been a pivotal factor in our partnership of learning. Whether you have been with us since the beginning, or new to us this year, you will remain a member of our Online728 family.

Additional communication from ISD 728 News will be sent in the coming weeks regarding student plans for the 2024-2025 academic year. Current 8th grade students who have registered for full-time online enrollment with Online728 High School are not impacted.

We look forward to finishing the 2023-2024 school year strong with you all. In the words of Walt Disney, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see ya real soon!”

Dr. Meagan Rathbun
