Meet Our Team

Hope Knutson

1st - 3rd Grade

Hope Knutson has been a dedicated educator for 9 years, teaching children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. She has helped to foster a love of learning in students and watched them grow academically and socially. Hope lives in Corcoran with her loving husband, their beautiful daughter, and two furry friends. She has a passion for all things nature, and enjoys spending her free time traveling the world, hiking, gardening, bird-watching, biking, and camping. She believes that connecting with the natural world is essential for personal well-being and is grateful to live in a place with so much beauty to explore. Hope joins our team excited to help students learn and grow to their fullest potential.

Kimberly Burken

4th - 5th Grade

Kimberly Burken is so excited to be an Online 728 teacher.  She holds teaching licenses in Elementary Education 1-6, Communication Arts & Literature 5-8, and Mathematics 5-8, and has a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction.  She has been teaching for 9 years, including 5 years at Vandenberge Middle School teaching math, and most recently, as a 5th grade teacher at Rogers Elementary School.  Kimberly is passionate about empowering students through individualized learning, harnessing technology to its full advantage and utilizing blended learning strategies, so the Online 728 program is a perfect fit for her. Kimberly lives in Coon Rapids with her family.  Her two-year old daughter Rosie, and two dogs, Echo and Zulu keep her busy!  She enjoys spending time outdoors- going for walks, playing in the backyard, and roasting marshmallows over a bonfire, but you can also find her on the couch binge-watching tv or diving into a book.

Angie Craft

4th - 5th Grade

Angie Craft has Elementary Education K-6 and Communication Arts & Literature 5-8 teaching licenses, as well as a Masters degree in Education. She has been teaching for 14 years, primarily English 6-8, and also has experience with math 5-6. Angie is committed to utilizing technology's potential and has been a leader in her learning communities. Having experienced a non-traditional education herself as a child provides Angie with a unique perspective and desire to individualize learning experiences through Online728. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially hiking and other outdoor activities.
